Aperture Priority AE.
JPEGs are processed by D3 without any change. No retouch.
NEFs are Loss less compressed RAW 14bit.

NEF's File size is about 15Mbytes each. Be careful about your Internet bandwidth when you download them.

Hi, I wonder if I could trouble you to post 4 more NEFs from your D3?

These need to be in a specific format, so that astrophotographers, can study the noise characteristics of the D3:

Cap the body. Set the camera to M, ISO800 and all forms of NR off. Take one shot at 1/8000 sec (this is the bias frame), then set the camera into Bulb, and take a 1 minute exposure, then turn on long exposure NR, and do another shot, and let Job NR finish. Finally, do one last 1 min shot, but when job NR begins, turn off the power switch, this should cause the camera to flush the last shot to the CF card. These shots can be 12bit or 14bit, as long as all four shots are the same.
